I only had the pleasure - and it was a pleasure - of meeting Nick half a dozen times. I remember him as a great bloke, very interesting conversation and excellent taste in beer and politics. 

Nick was a longstanding friend of my husband's, and i join him in sending condolences to Nick's family and many friends.
