I am very sad to discover that my friend Nick has passed away. We first met around 1976 when we were working at South Tyneside Council. We went our separate ways but renewed our friendship around 1988. Since then Nick was a very good friend who I was able to see more often. I mourn his passing and really miss his wonderful humour.
