I met Nick only a couple of times, but he is still very present in my memory. Especially I liked our chats in the pub in Lechlade, chats about history, politics, but also about beer, and beer, and beer, so many different types of beer... I never would have imagined that they exist. I was impressed by his intelligence, his knowledge about so many different themes, and his friendliness. When I am thinking now of him, there is a great warmth in me, and sadness. I see now that he really has left a footprint in my heart.
