I was completely gobsmacked to hear the news and he will be very sadly missed. As one of the directors of Cotswold Taste I got to know him well and found him to be such a clever, well connected, knowledgeable and funny man. I am proud to be responsible in bringing both him and Chris into the 21st century when it came to social media! When I asked him about it as I first met him he admitted he was a complete dinosaur in that respect, but we did get him on zoom calls in the end even if I had to talk him through getting onto the first one by phone. I will miss his calls in response to a ‘quick’ text or email – which often lasted longer than a ‘quick’ response, but you always got far more than you expected. I am at a loss to say any more.
